2:00 pm Calm and Rainy Weather.

4:00 pm Moderate breezes and dark Cloudy Weather with Rain.

Saturday, Aug. 2, 1788

12:00 am A little Squally

3:00 am Fair Weather out all Reefs and set Fore Topmast Steering Sail

8:00 am Fair Weather. Hot breakfast served as usual. Employed cleaning ship Saturday being the day no other work is done except the People cleaning and mending their cloaths.

12:00 pm Light Breezes and fine Weather with a sharp dry air.
