4:00 am Strong Gale and Rain. Double Reefed the Main Topsails and handed Fore Topsail.

8:00 am In 4th Reefs Main Topsail. Hard Gales and thick Rainy Weather. Down Top Gallant yards.

12:00 pm Very Hard Gales & thick Rainy Weather with a high breaking Sea. Scuding under Close Reefed Main Topsail on the Cap & Foresail
