Sunday, May. 18, 1788

1:00 pm Fresh Breezes and Cloudy Weather. Ordered all hands to have Clean Hammocks.

6:00 pm Fresh Gales and Cloudy Weather. In 2nd Reefs.

8:00 pmSqually. Handed Mizen Topsail and in 3rd Reef Fore Top Sail. Lost a Log and a Line.

11:00 pm In 3rd Reef Main Topsail.

Monday, May. 19, 1788

12:00 am Strong Gales, a Great Swell from the SE.

8:00 am Dark Cloudy Weather with Hard Squalls. Down Main Top Gallant Yard.

10:00 am Served Portable Soup & Krout to all hands for Dinner, it being Banyan Day.

12:00 pm Strong Gale and thick Rainy Weather. Under Courses & triple Reefed Topsails. Ship Still continues to be pumped every hour. Pintada Birds & Sheerwaters as Usual.
