8:00 pm Light Breezes & fair Weather.

Sunday, May. 18, 1788

12:00 am Ditto Weather. Many Porpoises about the Ship.

2:00 am Swell from the SSW.

4:00 am Great Swell from the South.

8:00 am Moderate and fair Weather. Swell from the SE.

9:00 am Mustered and saw everyone Clean & performed Divine Service.

12:00 pm Ditto Weather and Swell from the SE. Albatrosses, Pintada Birds & Sheerwaters about.

Water remaining on board 43 Butts, at 2 Butts in 5 Days, equal to 3 M .. 10 Days.[*]

[* A butt held 108 Imperial gallons, beyond that I have no idea what he means here.]
