1:00 pm Fresh Gale and thick hazy Weather with Rain at times.

4:00 pm More Moderate out 2nd Reefs.

6:00 pm Thick foggy Weather and a great Swell from the NW.

Tuesday, Apr. 29, 1788

12:00 am Moderate and Cloudy.

6:00 am Out all Reefs and set Fore Topmast Steerg Sail.

8:00 am Ditto Weather. Got Main Top Gallant Mast on end and Top Gallant and Mizen Topsail Yard.

10:00 am Employed drying below with Fires. Served Sweet Wort as Usual.

12:00 pm Dark Cloudy Weather and a Moderate Breeze. My Sick People begin to recover fast.
