Sunday, Apr. 27, 1788

1:00 pm Moderate Breezes and Fair Weather.

3:00 pm In Lower Steering Sails.

5:00 pm In Topmast Steering Sail. The Wind backing to the Northward and Weather Cloudy.

8:00 pm In 1st Reefs Frest Breezes and fair Weather.

Monday, Apr. 28, 1788

12:00 am Fresh Gale & thick Hazy Weather. In 2nd Reefs.

6:00 am Small Rain.

8:00 am Fresh Gale and thick Rainy Weather. Pintada Birds, Sheerwaters & some Rock Weed Seen. Cleaned & aired below with Fires & served Sweet Wort as usual. Portable Soup & Krout for Dinner being Banyan Day.

12:00 pm Ditto Weather the ship is now become very leaky in every part above Water which in this Weathr keeps us very damp below Notwithstanding I have constant Fires.
