1:00 pm Moderate Breezes and fine Weather.

2:00 pm Tacked. Opened a Puncheon of Pork Contents 160 four pound peices No. 555, short two peices

8:00 pm Some Small Rain

9:00 pm Fair Weather.

11:00 pm Out 1st Reefs

Thursday, Feb. 28, 1788

6:00 am Set Fore Topmast Steering Sail

8:00 am Moderate & fair Weather, but too Cloudy to get my Lunar Observation.
Employed dipping the new Main Topsail in the Sea for bending, & brought it too. Overhauled the Old one

12:00 pm Ditto Weather. Swell from the SSE - some Sheerwaters & a Port Egmont hen about the Ship. Saw some Dolphins.
