Friday February 15th

 1 pm: Light breezes and fair weather

 2 pm: Tacked Ship – Leewardmost White Horses NEbE

 3 pm: Tacked Ship – Fresh breeze and cloudy weather

 4 pm: Western white Horse N26°W ⅓ mile Cow Bay Point S80E ½ Mile off Shore 1½ mile – at 4..15 Tacked Cow Bay Point S65E off shore 1 mile Eastern White Horse NBW – at Sun set in 2d Reefs Yelhas Point N85°E 4 or 5 Mile Cow Bay Point N45°E – at 6 Tacked Ship at 6..30 the wind came from the Land Tacked Ship

10 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual

12 mid: Fresh Breeze

 1 am: At 1..45 Tacked Yelhas Hill bearing North

 4 am: Fresh breezes and Squally Tacked Ship

 6 am: Tacked Ship Yelhas Point NWbW & the Eastern white Horse N10°W 5 or 6 Miles

 8 am: The Western white Horse N28°W 4 or 5 Leagues Extremes of the Land NNE to NWbW

10 am: Tacked Ship – unbent the spanker & bent the Mizen – Sailmaker on the After awning – Served fresh beef

12 noon: Fresh breeze and fair weather with haze – western white Horse NWbW – Extremes of the Land WbN to NE½E – off Shore 5 or 6 Miles
