 3 pm: At 3 Beachy Head NNW½S 7 leagues

 5 pm: In Top Gallant Sails – fresh Breezes and Hazy Weather

 8 pm: Beachy Head [NW?] 3 Leagues – Tacked Ship

 9 pm: Light Breezes and fair weather

12 mid: Beachy Head NBS distant 3½ Leagues

 1 am: At ½ past 1 Beachy Head NNE 4 Leagues

 3 am: Light Airs and cloudy weather – Beachy Head [?] 3 or 4 Leagues

 7 am: Employed fixing Quarter deck & Hamacoe Nettings

 9 am: Beachy Head EBN 9 Leagues fair weather

12 noon: Served Spirits to the Ships Company
