AM Light breezes & Cloudy Made & Shortened Sail Occasionally Out all reefs & Set the Square Mainsail Mustered the Ships Company At Noon Moderate breezes & fine Weather Providence [blank] .. Served Barley Portable Soup Sweet Wort &c as usual

Monday 26  Light breezes & Cloudy PM In 1st. reef of the Topsails AM Ditto Weather In Top Gallant Sails & 1st. reef of the Fore & Aft Mainsail At Noon Fresh breezes & Hazey with Rain Providence [blank]

Tuesday 27  Fresh breezes & Hazey with Small Rain PM Close reefed the Fore Sail Fore & Aft Main Sail & Fore & Main Topsail got down Top Gallyards5dsw & Struck Top Gallant masts AM Moderate & open Cloudy Weather Out all reefs Fidded the Top Gallant masts & got up the Main Top Gallant yard & set the Sail ... Cleaned below Aired with Fires & washed with Vinegar People Employed repairing the defects of the Rigging At Noon Moderate & fine Weather Providence [blank]
