Remarks ♀ [Friday] January 4 1793 H.M.S. Providence

 1 pm: Fresh Trade and cloudy Weather

 2 pm: Several flying fish seen

 4 pm: rather squally with a light shower of Rain

 8 pm: Fine Starlight Night. Carrying all possible Sail.

12 mid: Steady fresh Trade & fine Night

 4 am: Ditto Weather

 5 am: The usual Morning Duty.

 8 am: Fine Weather the Sun and Moon tolerably clear

10 am: Sailmakers about the old Mizen topsail.

11 am: People washing and mending their Cloaths

12 noon: At Noon Fresh Trade & fair Weather rather hazey
