Remarks ♄ [Saturday] St Helena to the West Indies

 1 pm: Fresh Trade and cloudy Weather

 2 pm: People washing and mending their Cloaths

 3 pm: Flying fish seen

 4 pm: Squally Weather with spitting rain at Times

 6 pm: Pumps worked as usual

 8 pm: Cloudy Weather with small rain at Times and frequent Lightning.

11 pm: Squally Weather with frequent Showers.

12 mid: Ditto Weather

 4 am: Fresh Breeze and cloudy Weather

 5 am: Light Squalls and rain

 8 am: Saw many flying fish.

10 am: Fresh Trade & Clear Weather Washed and cleaned fore and aft – Aired with Fires in the Cockpits – Marines exercised at Small Arms.

11 am: Spruce Beer today

12 noon: At Noon Fresh Trade and Squally Weather
