Remarks ♀ [Friday] December 14th 1792 H.M.S. Providence

 1 pm: Fresh Breezes & fine Weather

 2 pm: People restowing and tarring the Booms

 3 pm: Carpenters & Gunners employed as before

 4 pm: Ditto Weather Tarred the Whale boat.

 5 pm: Hooks & Lines scv out to the Ships Company.

 8 pm: Cloudy

12 mid: Carrying all Sail to keep the Assistant in her Station.

 4 am: At Day break Set the Fore royal.

 8 am: Fresh Breezes & Cloudy
People scrubbing the Paint-work about the Cabbin and after Hatchway.
Scraped the Lower Top & Top Gallant Masts, Bowsprit & Jib-boom. Painting the Lower Mast and greasing the Top and Top Gallant Masts, Topsail sheets, Tyes &c.
A Cask of Spruce broached for the People.

12 noon: At Noon Moderate Breezes & Cloudy Weather
