Flinders's Providence Logbook Aug 26, 1792

Remarks Sunday 26th In the South Sea

 1 pm: Moderate Breezes and fine Weather

 3 pm: People washing and mending their Cloaths

 4 pm: Ditto Weather

 5 pm: Made the Signal and spoke the Assistant In 2nd reefs and shortened sail for the Night

 8 pm: Fine Night

12 mid: Ditto Weather

 1 am: Struck a bottle nosed Porpoise but he made his Escape

 4 am: Fine clear Weather

 6 am: Out reefs and made all Sail

 7 am: Saw Numbers of flying Fish

 9 am: Cleaned below and aired the Cockpits with Fires – Ships Company seen clean mustered in Divisions and Divine Service performed by the Captain

12 noon: At Noon Moderate Breezes and fine Weather with a following Sea
