 3 pm: Saw several Albatrosses and Sheerwaters

 4 pm: Cs the Sun seldom seen

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual

 6 pm: Before Dark in 1st Reefs

 8 pm: Moderate Breezes and fair Weather Took in the Studding sails

10 pm: A Blazing Meteor fell in the SW not far distant from the Ship which for a few seconds enlightened the whole Atmosphere

12 mid: Light Breezes and Cloudy Weather A Fire kept all Night in the Galley as usual

 4 am: Light Airs & Cloudy Weather

 5 am: At Day break out 1st Reefs and made all Sail

 6 am: Sun rose clear, but soon immersed in the Clouds and only seen at short Intervals afterwards

 8 am: Light Airs Cleaned below and aired with Fires In steering sails & Royals unbent the second best and bent the old Fore and Main topsails

10 am: People mustered in Divisions – Wort as usual at ½ past 10 OClock – Performed Divine Service – A Cask of Spruce Beer as yesterday
