Bond's Providence Logbook Jun 29, 1793

Remarks &c Saturday 29th June 1793

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather

 2 pm: Squally with rain – passed much gulf-weed

 4 pm: Fresh breezes and fine weather – in 1st reef Fore Top Sail. worked the pumps. Exercised great Guns

 7 pm: Squally with rain, shortened sail occasionally

 8 pm: In 1st. reef Main Top Sail.

 9 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather

11 pm: Squally with rain.

12 mid: Light breezes and cloudy weather

 5 am: At day light Assistant, Antelope, Thomas, and Clementson in company. – Saw several Dolphin.

 7 am: Served the usual breakfast

 8 am: Light airs and fine clear weather saw a Tropic bird

10 am: Up all chests and bags and washed well below – fires in the Cockpits and between decks. Exercised Marines, and new entered men at small Arms.

12 noon: Light airs and fine weather same ships in company as this morning
   Latitude Observed 31·00 North
