1 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy hove to for a canoe with Turtle &c – At 12.45 bore away, SW part of Grand Caymana, West, 5 or 6 miles; Bowden Town, North, 2 miles distant

 3 pm: At 3.45 anchored with the small Bower in 8 fathoms, over a bottom of red sand & shells. Extremes of the Bay from S9°W, 1½ miles, to North 1 mile – Westermost point of the Island NWbN 5 or 6 miles; landing place of George Town E½S about ½ mile distance – Employed supplying the Rochampton with stores, rope, blocks &c.;

 6 pm: At 6 weighed and made sail. At 7 George town bore EbN 2 or 3 miles; set steering sails – Left the Rochampton at Caymana and were joined by 2 vessels under English Colours, steering the same course as ourselves

12 mid: At 12 fresh breezes and cloudy

 4 am: Out reefs and made all sail

 6 am: Served the usual sea Breakfast of thick Portable Soup Gruel

 8 am: Moderate breezes and fine weather – Exercised great Guns and small Arms. Washed the Gun, Orlop, and Cockpit decks – Sailmakers repairing the old Jib, Carpenters repairing the old Cutter.

12 noon: At Noon moderate breezes and cloudy weather with light squalls and some rain – The Assistant, Antelope, Clementson, Thomas & two strange vessels in company. In Top Gallant Steering sails
