Remarks &c at Coepang, Timor

Friday 5th  First part fresh breezes and fair, middle light airs and fine, and latter moderate breezes and fair, but fresh at times – PM. employed hoisting in water and stowing it away. Carpenter stocking the Anchor and seamen Puddening it – AM sent party's to wood and water. Employed in the Holds and sending empty casks on shore. Sailed for Batavia a Dutch Company's Snow, Captain Bobergh – received fresh Beef and a few greens – supplyed the Assistant with 31 pounds. Memorandum. The Butcher went regularly on shore to kill the Beef, which tho' very lean was found to be sweet and tender.

Saturday 6th.  First part fresh breezes and fair weather middle moderate and latter light breezes. PM received a turn of wood per whale boat, and water per country Craft. After night received a turn of water per Launch – AM employed stowing the water and some hands about the rigging. received Fresh Beef and Greens and supplyed the Assistant wtih 37 pounds.
