Bond's Providence Logbook Jul 31, 1792

Remarks &c towards Timor 31st July 1792

 1 pm: Light airs and fair

 5 pm: Unbent the old and bent another Main Top Gallant Sail – Sailmakers about the Awning (dividing it) and Main Top Gallant Sail – People new pointing the old Fore Top Sail

 8 pm: Light airs and cloudy weather a swell from the Eastward

10 pm: Showers of Rain. Topsails, Top Gallant Sails & Jib set.

12 mid: Light airs and thick Atmosphere

 2 am: Rain

 4 am: Light airs and cloudy

 5 am: Small rain.

 8 am: Ditto Weather with repeated showers of small rain. Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast – Set and hauled down occasionally the Fore Top Mast Steering Sail – Exercised Boats Crews at Small Arms – Served Sour Krout to ships company

12 noon: Light airs & rain Assistant in company
