Remarks &c Monday 30th July 1792

 1 pm: Light breezes and fair weather sent the Whale boat on board the Assistant for Lieutenant Portlock

 6 pm: At 6 hove to and sent the boat with Lieutenant Portlock – In boat and made sail; the Assistant made sail ahead to look out

10 pm: Calm and fine weather

12 mid: Light airs and fine moon light

 7 am: Out 1st reefs – saw Tropic birds

11 am: Saw a Whale

12 noon: Light airs and cloudy. Sailmakers employed mending Quarter Deck Awning &c.
