Bond's Providence Logbook Jan 4, 1792

Remarks &c towards New Holland 4th January 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and pleasant weather

 2 pm: Out 1st reef Top Sails.

 4 pm: Gunners employed making wads.

 5 pm: Saw several Albatrosses.

 6 pm: Fine clear weather.

12 mid: Moderate and cloudy, shortened sail for the Assistant.

 6 am: Strong breezes – in Top Gallant Sails & Fore Top Mast steering sail. Passed by a [trimmed?] spar about 10 feet long.

 9 am: Moderate and cloudy sat Top Gallant Sails

10 am: Hazy weather Exercised Small Arms.

12 noon: Moderate breezes and small rain – Assistant in company.
   No Observation.
