Providence Logbook Jan 19, 1793

Remarks Saturday 19th January 1793 [Towards] St. Vincents

 1 pm: Fair Weather and Squally.

 3 pm: Bent the Old Fore Top Sail. Could not get any Lunar Observations.

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual.

 6 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual.

 7 am: Employed mending Clothes. Sailmakers repairing Sails. Washed Ship in every part below and Aired well with fires.

12 noon: Fair Weather and Squally. All Sails Set and occasionally taken in. Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer.
   Assistant in Company.
