Providence Logbook Jan 11, 1793

Remarks Friday 11th January 1793 [Towards] St. Vincents

 1 pm: Moderate Breezes and Cloudy Weather.

 4 pm: Light Winds

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual. Saw some Porpoises.

11 pm: Lightning in the NE.

12 mid: Moderate and fair Weather.

 5 am: Saw some Dolphin and Flying Fish.

 7 am: Served Hot Breakfast and portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner.

 9 am: Cleaned and aired below with Fires. Exercised Great Guns and Small Arms. Spoke the Assistant and sent Lieut. Portlock some fresh Pork.

12 noon: Light Winds and Fair Weather
  Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer.
   Assistant in Company.
