Providence Logbook Dec 10, 1792

Remarks Monday 10th December 1792 Towards [St. Helena]

 1 pm: Moderate and fair Weather

 3 pm: Saw an Albetross and some Nautiluses

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the Pumps.

12 mid: Fresh Gale and Cloudy.

 6 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Bore Cole thickned with Portable Soup and Oatmeal for Dinner. Vinegar as usual on this day. Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer.

 9 am: Employed washing and Airing with Fires. Sailmakers mending Sails. Carpenters Painting, Hands about the Rigging.

12 noon: Fair Weather and pleasant Air.
   Assistant in Company and out Sails us.
