Providence Logbook Nov 22, 1792

Remarks Thursday 22nd November 1792 Towards [Cape of Good Hope]

 1 pm: Moderate Breezes and Cloudy Weather. It prevents me from getting any Lunar Observations.

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual. Saw a Cape Hen.

 4 am: Squally in Steering Sails.

 5 am: Fresh Breezes Set all Steering Sails and Fore Top Gallant Royal.

 8 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual. Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner. Krout as usual.

 9 am: Cleaned Ship and Aired with Fires. Hands employed about the Rigging.

12 noon: Strong Breezes and Fair Weather but too Cloudy to get any Lunar Observations. Albetrosses and Sheerwaters.
