Providence Logbook Nov 21, 1792

Remarks Wednesday 21st November 1792 [Towards] Cape of Good Hope

 1 pm: Moderate and fair Weather with Haze.

 3 pm: Saw a Whale, Albetrosses and Sheerwaters. A Sea rising fast from the Westward.

 6 pm: Pumped Ship as usual. A Great Head Sea.

 7 pm: In 2nd Reefs Top Sails and down Fore Top Gallant Yard.

 4 am: Up Fore Top Gallant Yard and Out 2nd Reefs.

 6 am: Set Steering Sails.

 8 am: Served Hot Breakfast as usual and Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner. Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer.

10 am: Cleaned below.

12 noon: Fair Weather and Cloudy. My Plants doing very well.
   Assistant in Company
