Providence Logbook Nov 17, 1792

Remarks Saturday 17th November 1792 [Towards] Cape of Good Hope

 1 pm: Fresh Gale and Fair Weather

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual.

 4 am: Out 2nd Reefs and made all Sail

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast as usual.

 8 am: Washed Ship and Fore Cockpit with boiling Water and dried with Fires.

10 am: Albetrosses, Sheerwaters and Fish seen.

12 noon: Light Winds and fine Weather. Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer for the Ships Company. A Head Sea.
   Assistant in Company.
