Remarks Friday 16th November 1792 Towards [Cape of Good Hope]

 1 pm: Light Airs and Calms. Albecores and other Fish. Albetrosses and Mother Careys Chicken.

 2 pm: Carpenters Employed Caulking the Quick work. Hand Picking Oakum.

 5 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and Worked the Pumps.

10 pm: Lightning in the NW.

12 mid: Light Airs.

 5 am: Squalley in 2nd Reefs wind backed. Wore Ship.

 7 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner

 9 am: Cleaned below and Aired with Fires. Caught an Albecore.

12 noon: Fresh Gale and fair Weather. Head Sea.
   Assistant in Company.
