Providence Logbook Aug 15, 1792

Remarks Wednesday 15th August 1792

 1 pm: Strong Breezes. Cloudy and very hazy Weather

 2 pm: Exercised at Small Arms and fired.

 4 pm: Saw a Man of War Bird and a small black Sheerwater

 6 pm: In Studding Sails and double Reefed the Top Sails
Worked the Pumps as usual.

 5 am: Out Reefs and made all Sail. Saw Three Tropic Birds

 7 am: Served Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast. Bore Cole and Portable Soup in the Pease for Dinner.

10 am: Cleaned below and Aired with Fires. Broached a Puncheon of Spruce Beer.

12 noon: Dark Cloudy Weather with much haze and Sun only out at intervals.
   Assistant in Company.
