Providence Logbook Mar 13, 1792

Remarks Tuesday 13th March 1792 Towards Otaheite

 1 pm: Light Winds and Foggy Weather

 2 pm: Saw Albetrosses a Species of Whale and some Rock Weed

 3 pm: Sailmakers repairing Sails & Taylors Cloaths

 6 pm: Let fresh Water into the Ship and worked the pumps as usual —

 8 pm: Cloudy Weather

 4 am: Misty Weather

 5 am: Found the Main Top Mast Trustle Broke Secured the Top Gallant Mast.—

 8 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast Krout & Sweet Wort as customary. —

10 am: Cleaned Ship & dried with Fires – Saw Rock Weed –

12 noon: Fresh Breezes and dark misty Weather with a Wet and very unpleasant Air. —
   Assistant in Company
