Providence Logbook Mar 11, 1792

Remarks Sunday 11th March 1792 Towards Otaheite

 1 pm: Fresh Gale and dark Cloudy Weather. Three Cape Hens about all the Afternoon.—

 4 pm: Thick Misty Weather. In 3rd Reef Main Top Sail and down Top Gallant Yards

 6 pm: Worked the pumps as usual

 8 pm: Fire all Night to Air the Ship

12 mid: Rain

 6 am: Less Wind and thick Misty Weather. Out 3rd. Reefs. –

 8 am: Foggy Weather. Hot breakfast – Sweet Wort & Krout served as usual & Bore Cole in the pease for Dinner. —

11 am: Cleaned Ship - Saw every Person Clean dressed and Performed Divine Service. —

12 noon: Thick Foggy Wather. Gave the people a Puncheon of very fine Spruce Beer. —
  Under Double Reefed Top Sails. Assistant in Company —
 A few Albetrosses and small blue Petterals. Saw a patch of Rock Weed. —
