Providence Logbook Feb 5, 1792

Remarks Sunday 5th February 1792 [Towards Van] Diemans Land

 1 pm: Fresh Gale and Fair Weather

 2 pm: Opened a Cask of Pork No. 1049 Contents 120 Double peices.—

 4 pm: Oceanic Birds as usual. —

 6 pm: Less Wind – Let fresh Water into the Ship & worked the pumps as usual. —

 7 pm: Great Swell from the Westward. —

10 pm: Heavy Dew and Sharp Air. —

12 mid: Fresh Gale and fine Weather

 8 am: Hazy. – Served a Hot Breakfast of Portable Soup Gruel as usual. – Krout and Sweet Wort.

10 am: Mustered the Ships Company. Saw them clean dressed — Read the Articles of War &c —

11 am: Performed Divine Service.

12 noon: Fair Weather & Hazy. – Some Sea Weed many Small Blue petterals & a few other Oceanic Bires. —
   Assistant in Company
 much Swell from the Westward and a moist air. – Dried Ship with Fires
