Providence Logbook Jan 22, 1792

Remarks Sunday 22 January 1792 [Towards Van] Diemans Land

 1 pm: Fresh Gales and Fair Weather with some Squalls
Out 3rd. Reef Main Top Sail

 3 pm: Out 3rd. Reef Fore Top Sail

 6 pm: Heavy Shower of Rain

 7 pm: In 3rd. Reefs and handed the Main Sail and Mizen Top Sail —

 8 pm: Fires all Night to air Ship

12 mid: Great Sea from the WSW

 8 am: More moderate out 3rd Reefs – Cleaned & dried below with Fires – Mustered the Ships company and saw them clean and performed Divine Service. —
   Served Sweet Wort as usual. —

12 noon: Cloudy with Fair Intervals and less Sea
  Few Albetrosses and some small Blue petterals — Rove New Tiller Ropes. —
   Assistant in Company
