1:00 pm Fair Weather and Cloudy. All Sails set.

4:00 pm Saw Some Bonitoes.

10:00 pm Pleasant Weather and fine Moon, but the Sky continued so cloudy, I cannot make any observations, and I never before experienced such a length of time to be without as many as I was in Want of.

Sunday, Oct. 12, 1788

8:00 am Served Portable Soup and Sweet Wort as usual.

9:00 am Cleaned below, Saw every Person Clean and Performed Divine Service.

12:00 pm Open Cloudy Weather. No Birds.
