4:00 pm Saw a Patch of Long Rock Weed as Yesterday.

8:00 pm Fresh Breezes.

11:00 pm In Steering Sails.

Monday, Sep. 29, 1788

3:00 am Squally with Rain.

4:00 am Cloudy.

6:00 am Set Fore and Fore Topmast Steering Sail.

8:00 am Fresh Breezes and Cloudy. Served Portable Soup as usual. Also Sweet Wort.

10:00 am All Hands employed after cleaning Ship, in drawing Yarns & Making Spun Yarn & Cable Plats.

12:00 pm Cloudy Weather but got a tolerable Noon Observation. A few small Albatrosses about but no other Birds. Under all Sails.
