8:00 am Fair Weather. Washed & Cleaned below. Employed making matts for the New Sails & points for the Courses. Put some Puncheons to dry to receive Bread

12:00 pm Fair Weather. Out 1st Reef Main Topmast. From this day being entered on the Coast of Brasil the set of the Currents will be found by the error in Latitude.
