8:00 pm Light Breezes and Cloudy.

10:00 pm In lower & Main Top Mast Steering Sails.

Thursday, Jan. 3, 1788

12:00 am Moderate & Clear Weather.

2:00 am In Fore Topmast Steering Sail.

4:00 am Cloudy.

8:00 am Fresh Breezes & Cloudy.

9:00 am Employed Making Matts & Spinning Spun Yarn.

12:00 pm Ditto Weather with a Squally appearance all round the Horizon as is frequently met with in the Neighbourhood of Land. Some Mother Carey's Chickens seen.
