Tuesday 17th Light breezes and cloudy weather – PM sent the Launch for the Marines [?] [spars?] &c from the Post – received water per small cutter – Launched and brought on board the whale boat – at Sunset the party returned on board from duty at the post – employed clearing for Sea – AM received water per Launch – loosed sails to dry – at 9 veered away and numoored ship – received plentifull supplies of pigs fruit &c – Served fresh pork &c – hauled in the Launch & small cutter –
