1 pm: Fresh Breezes and cloudy weather with haze & showers of Rain – set Steering Sails – A Right Whale was seen, and a Cape Hen which settled on the Mast Head for a short time – The People had the Afternoon to wash and mend their cloaths

 7 pm: Hazy, passed a Quantity of Rock weed in patches – at 7 Cloudy with thick Mist shortened Sail for the night

10 pm: Thick rainy weather

12 mid: Fresh Breezes and thick weather – Squally

 1 am: Squally in Top Gallant Sails and 2d & 3d Reefs Fore Top Sail

 2 am: Threatning weather to the Southward the air very sharp

 5 am: Strong breezes and cloudy made more sail

 7 am: Set the Fore & Fore Top Mast Steering Sails – The People had thick Gruel and portable Soup for Breakfast – Cleaned below and aired with fires – Krout and wort as usual

10 am: Mustered in Divisions and performed divine Service

12 noon: At Noon Fresh Breezes and fair pleasant weather – Portable Soup and Bore coal in the Pease for Dinner
