Tuesday 22  First part Fresh breezes & Cloudy Employed as Yesterday Middle part Moderate & Cloudy Latter Fresh breezes sent a Party to haul the Sein cast off the Lanyard of the Fore Rigging for the Carpenter to caulk in the Wake of them .. The Carpenter having finished Caulking Rove new Lanyards & set up the Rigging & the Bowsprit Shrouds ... The Party Returned from hauling the Sein without Success ... Very few Natives Trading alongside

Wednesday 23  First part Fresh breezes & Cloudy Weather Unrove the Lanyards of the Main Shrouds Carpenter caulked in the Wake of the Rigging Rove new Lanyards & set up the Main Rigging Sailmaker repairing the Old Jib AM Fresh breezes & Cloudy with Rain Sailmaker as before Boatswain Employed about the rigging & the Gunner cleaning Small Arms a few Natives Trading as usual

Thursday 24  Fresh breezes & Cloudy PM bent the Jib Carpenter repairing the hatches People Employed making points & serving the Top Sail sheets &c AM Moderate & Cloudy with some rain Seamen Employed as before Carpinter making a Topmast studding sail boom Gunner cleaning Small Arms & the Sailmaker repairing the Fore Topmast Staysail

Friday 25  Moderate and Cloudy Weather PM people employed making points & Carpenter making a Top Gallant mast Sailmaker as before & Boatswain serving the Fore Topsail sheets at 11 [?] discovered an Indian under the Counter sent a boat from each Ship in search of him but he made his escape AM Moderate & Cloudy at ½ past 2 The Providence unmoored with an intention of looking at her Cable moved her birth nearer in shore & Moored again People Employed as before

Saturday 26  First part Light breezes with rain at times PM Sailmaker repairing the Fore Topmast Staysail Seamen repairing the service in the Main topsail & Main sheets making points & repairing the Windsails Middle parts Moderate & Cloudy with rain at times at 4 AM sent a party to haul the Sein Latter part Light breezes & Cloudy weather cleaned between decks Fore & Aft at 9 the Sein party returned without Success Received a Turn of Water per the Jolly boat People employed washing & mending their Cloaths A few Natives Trading as usual
