Remarks Friday 30 1792 Towards Otaheite

 1 pm: Moderate Breezes and fair Weather

 2 pm: Exercised the Boats Crews at Small Arms Sailmakers repairing the Main topsail. People about the Quarter Nettings – Spoke the Assistant – All well on board

 5 pm: Cloudy Weather

 6 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual

 7 pm: Before Dark. In 1st Reefs

 8 pm: Moderate Breezes and fair Weather

 9 pm: Dark Cloudy Sky to the Westward

12 mid: Cloudy Weather a considerable Dew falling

 4 am: Moderate Breezes and Cloudy Weather

 5 am: Out 1st Reefs

 6 am: A Sheerwater and some Porpoises seen

 8 am: Cleaned below

10 am: Wort at the usual Time

11 am: People washing their Cloaths

12 noon: Moderate Breezes and Cloudy Weather The Sun seen thro' the thin Clouds
