Saturday 20th. First and latter parts fresh breezes and hazy – middle part light breezes and fair. AM. Sailmakers and Carpenters employed as yesterday. Washed below. Made the Penelope's signal for a Midshipman. received and served fresh Beef

Sunday 21st. First and latter parts fresh breezes and cloudy middle part light breezes and fair. PM arrived H. M. Packet Tankerville, 43 days from Falmouth. People employed mending their Clothes. AM cleaned below, received fresh Beef, and mustered in Divisions

Monday 22nd. First and latter parts fresh breezes and hazy – middle part light airs and fair. At [blank] PM arrived 3 Schooners prizes to the Tyger Privateer. Made the signal for a Kitterine. AM sailed H. M. Ship Penelope on a cruize. Sailmakers at the Yard – Carpenters fixing Swivel Stocks &c. Gunners employed repairing some Cartridges, people spinning spunyarn and fixing Stoppers &c. Sent the Yard Launch for water, and received fresh Beef

Tuesday 23rd. First and latter parts moderate breezes and hazy, middle part light airs and fair weather PM. The Guard Boat brought on board 5 french men who delivered themselves up as Prisoners and had left St. Domingo to escape the fury of the Democrates. One of whom we afterwards learnt was Mr. Borelle Commandant of Port au Prince. The schooner under Dutch colours we seized as french property. received a turn of water. AM sent Mr. Borelle & the 4 others to the Commissary's Office. Washed the 'tween Decks, and received fresh Beef Sailmakers making waist & Quarter Clothes, Carpenters & Gunners as yesterday
