Bond's Providence Logbook Jan 16, 1793

Remarks &c 16th January 1793

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and fine open cloudy weather

 2 pm: Saw flying-fish, and a bird about the size of a Gull.

 5 pm: Set the Fore Top Mast Steering sail.

 8 pm: Cloudy weather

10 pm: In steering sail

12 mid: Fresh breezes and cloudy.

 4 am: Strong breezes

 5 am: Set Fore Top Mast Steering sail

 7 am: Served the usual breakfast.

 8 am: Cleaned below and aired with fires. Exercised great Guns and fired with small Arms

10 am: At 10 set the Lower steering sail. Served Portable soup in the Pease for Dinner.

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fine weather with haze.
   Latitude Observed 11°·07′ North
