Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 14, 1792

Remarks &c Sunday 14th October 1792

 1 pm: Light airs and fair weather People employed washing and mending their Clothes. Sailmakers about the Main Deck Awning. Saw a small Shark; hauled down the Lee steering sails

 6 pm: An increasing breeze and fine weather down Top Gallant Steering sails & Royals – Worked the Pumps as usual

12 mid: Moderate breezes and fine weather

 4 am: A swell from the SW

 5 am: Made all sail

 8 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast and Sour Krout as usual – Cleaned below and aired with Fires – Mustered the ships company in Divisions and Performed Divine Service.

12 noon: Light airs and fine weather a swell from the SW. Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 11°·05′ South
