Bond's Providence Logbook Sep 22, 1792

Remarks &c towards Timor 22 September 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather with haze; mademore sail – Passed brown Scum and Rockweed

 4 pm: Ditto Weather

 5 pm: Worked ye Pumps as usual

 7 pm: Shortened sail, and in 2nd reefs Top Sails. Spoke the Assistant – In boats and hauled on a wind

10 pm: Wore ship every two hours during the night

 4 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy

 5 am: At 5 Hour.40 Minutes made all sail.

 7 am: Served the usual Breakfast and Sour Krout as customary

 8 am: Fresh breezes and fair weather with some appearance of swell – Washed the Gun Orlop and Cockpit Decks. Sailmakers employed making skreens for the Greenhouses

11 am: Caught a Porpoise with a high Forhead; and found it excellent Food – At 10 made ye Assistant signal to steer WNW

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fair weather
   Latitude Observed 9°:42′·13″ South
