Bond's Providence Logbook Feb 5, 1792

Remarks &c Sunday 5th February 1792

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather opened a cask of Pork – People employed mending their Cloathes

 4 pm: Saw several Albatrosses, Sheerwaters, Cary Chicken and patches of sea Weed.

 6 pm: Let in water to freshen the Well, as is the daily custom – pumped it out again

 8 pm: Fresh breezes and fair weather with a western swell

10 pm: A heavy Dew falling.

12 mid: Very fine weather

 5 am: Cloudy with a hazy horizon

 8 am: Served Portable Soup Gruel for breakfast. Saw many Albatrosses and Petterals.

 9 am: Cleaned below, aired ship with fires, and mustered in Divisions. – Served Krouts & Sweet Wort. – Our Commander performed Divine Service in the Cabin as usual.

12 noon: Fresh breezes & fair weather – Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 43°:46′ South
