Bond's Providence Logbook Jan 30, 1792

Remarks &c Monday 30th January 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather

 3 pm: Saw several Porpoises

 6 pm: Let water into the ship and pumped it out as is customary every day

 8 pm: Fresh breezes and cloudy weather in 1st reef Fore & Mizen Top Sails.

12 mid: Moderate and cloudy weather

 7 am: Saw a Cary Chicken (Storm-finch)

 8 am: Served thick Gruel with Portable Soup for Breakfast – Washed the Gun, Orlop & Cockpit Decks and aired ship with fires. Served Krout, Sweet Wort & Vinegar – Borecole & Portable Soup mixed with Oatmeal for Dinner. – Exercised at Small Arms. – Saw Albatrosses & several Sheerwaters – Assistant in company

12 noon: Moderate and Cloudy weather
