Remarks &c towards New Holland Saturday 31 December 1791

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather

 2 pm: Exercised the Marines at Small Arms

 6 pm: Hauled down Top Gallant & lee steering sails

 2 am: Fresh breezes with drizzling rain.

 4 am: Moderate and cloudy

 7 am: Squally with drizzling rain

 8 am: Saw several brown Sheerwaters, and some Bonetas

10 am: Cleaned below – Caulkers at work on the Quarter deck. Exercised Great Guns.

12 noon: Moderate breezes and fine weather. Assistant in company
