Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 28, 1791

Remarks &c 28th October 1791

 1 pm: A fresh breeze and cloudy weather

 2 pm: Saw an Albatross, Pintada birds, and different kinds of Sheerwaters.

 7 pm: Squally with small rain

11 pm: Luminous particles in the water.

12 mid: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather

 1 am: Squally.

 3 am: In Main Top Gallant sail.

 6 am: Unbent the Main Top Gallant sail to be mended; bent another.

 8 am: Cleaned below. Caulkers employed in the cabin, and Sailmakers about the Main Top Gallant sail – Aired ship with fires. Armourer at work at the Forge. Served Sour Krout to the ships company, and broached a puncheon of Spruce beer.

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fine weather with a swell from the Southward. Assistant in company
