Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 26, 1791

Remarks &c 26th October 1791

 1 pm: Fresh breezes and dark cloudy weather. Made the Assistant's signal to make more sail

 5 pm: Saw several Pintada birds, and different kinds of Sheerwaters.

10 pm: Moderate and cloudy.

 5 am: Dark cloudy weather with a sharp air.

 8 am: Saw several Albatrosses, Carey Chickens and Sheerwaters – Up all chests and Bags, and washed below – Aired also with fires. Dryed and overhauled the small sails. The Armourer working at the Forge as before – [?] the Main Top Gallant rigging

12 noon: Moderate and fair; the Assistant sparing us much sail these 24 hours
   Latitude Observed 28°:19′ South
